Indiana is divided into six tourism regions:
North, Central, East, West, South Central, and South. Each region
offers a unique Indiana experience and attractions.
The North region of Indiana features Amish Country, home of the third
largest Amish settlement in the US. Trademarks include homemade food,
handcrafted products, and black buggies. The Indiana Dunes National
Lakeshore along Lake Michigan is a perfect attraction for fun in the
sun.
In the Central region, Indianapolis shines as a Midwestern city where
arts and culture, professional sporting events, restaurants, and
shopping are all within walking distance or a short drive.
Parke County in the West region is a great place to tour historic
covered bridges. A day at Indiana Beach in Monticello has amusement
rides and water slides for all ages.
Indiana’s East region includes Fort Wayne, where families can enjoy
one of the top zoos in the country. Antique shoppers will want to
visit the Richmond area, home of Antique Alley; and, the town of
Fairmount features the home and final resting place of movie icon
James Dean.
The South Central and South regions show off the beauty of Indiana
forests and rolling hills. Brown County, in south central Indiana is a
popular vacation destination to view the colors of fall. The city of
Madison is one of several Ohio River communities that offers historic
charm and scenic views. The river runs along the south, where
Evansville entertains with a riverwalk, museums, and abundant
recreation opportunities. Spencer County, the boyhood home of Abraham
Lincoln, attracts visitors from all over to the family friendly theme
park, Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari.

With over 200 million
individuals over the age of 18 wearing some form of vision correction,
and the rising number of Americans suffering from serious vision and
health problems due to computer usage, it’s no wonder that eye and
vision care is one of today’s most popular benefits.
